The floating market is located on the northwest corner of the Punda area of Willemstad between Sha Caprileskade and the Waaigat Lagoon.
Long Description:
Vendors travel by boat from Venezuela, 40 miles to the south, to sell their fruits and vegetables at the floating market in Willemstad. They moor their boats along the Waaigat Lagoon and set up shopping stalls along the sidewalk selling fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, and spices. The vendors from Venezuela live on their boats. They receive regular of goods from the mainland to replenish their stock.
