Short Description:

The Casibari Rock Formations are located in the center of the island of Aruba about 2.5 miles east of Oranjestad.

Long Description:

Casibari Rock Formation is a cluster of huge boulders made of the mineral tonalite. The boulders rise 14 meters (46 feet) high from the desert floor. Some of the boulders weigh several tons and feature peculiar shapes. The Government of Aruba has created walking trails and steps through the boulders, allowing hikers to reach the top to obtain breathtaking views of the island. One set of steps is used to bring hikers to the top and a separate set of steps is used for the downhill journey.

From the top of the Casibari Rock Formation there is an excellent view of Hooiberg (Haystack) Mountain to the south.
