Long Description:
Six cast bronze plaques by Rene Paul Chambellan installed 1932 along a granite wall at the entrance to the Radio City Music Hall. They represent six classic vaudeville acts. They are from north to south:
Five musicians and a Russian dancer. |
Two banjo players and a dancer wearing a short pleated skirt. |
Accordion and saxaphone player with a cat. |
Five Rockettes in high heels and top hats. |
Cello and violin player with a dog in clown costume. |
Drummer and dancer wearing a top hat and tails, and carrying a cane. |
