Parc Monceau is a delightful park mostly frequented by Parisians. Along with the works of art there is a popular carousel billed as the Jules Verne Carrousel (in univers fabuleux). Named in honor of the noted French visionary writer, this carousel features an eclectic array of exotic wood carvings. Prominent and popular are the giraffe, space ship, fire engine, and submarine. The lighted dome features images of fantastic landscapes worthy of the imagination of Jules Verne. A nearby kiosk sells tickets by the ride - 2 euro.
