Wilkin was buried in Long...When Corporal Edmond G. Wilkin was buried in Longmeadow, I believe it was around 1947 or 48. I was only 7 or 8 years old, but I do remember that day as my family and I were there. Although only family members were allowed in the cemetery, a large crowd gathered outside the gate. I remember the minister of the First Church and General Omar Bradley were riding down Williams Street in a military jeep and proceeded into the cemetery for the service.
